BBL™, patented and FDA-approved technology, emits a non-coherent, broad spectrum light that is attracted to cells with abnormal amounts of color. The light is absorbed by melanin or hemoglobin.The heat injures the abnormally pigmented cells resulting in a more evenly toned complexion.
